World Wildlife Day
World Wildlife Day was observed on 3 March. It may be noted that, on 20 December 2013, in the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly, it was decided to celebrate Wildlife Day on 3 March.
This decision was taken because the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) was adopted on 3 March in 1973, which came into effect from 1 July 1975.
This day is celebrated to raise awareness about wild creatures and flora. The proposal was given by Thailand

- SDG- 12: Ensure sustainable production and consumption patterns.
- SDG- 14: Life Below water
- SDG- 15: Life on Land
