Recently the World Gold Council (WGC) has released a report, according to which India has now become the fourth largest gold recycler in the world. India has recycled 75 tonnes of gold in 2021.
Key Findings of the report-
- India is the fourth largest recycler in the world and 75 tonnes of gold was recycled by India in the year 2021.
- India’s gold refining capacity has increased by 1,500 tonnes (500%) in the year 2021. The top spot in this list belongs to China. It is followed by Italy and America.
WGC was established to promote the use and demand for gold through marketing, research and lobbying. It’s headquarter is located in London, United Kingdom.
