World Giving Index 2021
Recently, the annual report of 2021 the ‘World Giving Index’, has been published by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).
This report is the world’s largest survey of charitable efforts across the globe. Its first version was released in the year 2010.
This report mainly looks at 3 aspects of ‘Donating Tendency’:
- helping a stranger
- charitable donation
- volunteer time given to an organization
Key points of the report:
- In this report, Indonesia has been considered as the most liberal country in the world.
- Only Australia and New Zealand are high-income countries in this year’s top 10 most generous countries. India is 14th among the most charitable countries.
