Traffic light coalition
It is a coalition of parties with different ideologies to establish a government in Germany. The concept of ‘traffic light’ coalition is based on the colors of the parties.
For example, red for the Social Democratic Party of Germany, yellow for the Freedom Democratic Party and green for the Green Party of Germany.
These parties have come together for the first time to form a non-natural allies coalition.
The main objective of this alliance is climate protection. This includes climate-neutralization and digitization of German industry and fiscal discipline.
