The National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) has launched a project titled “Indian Citizens Assistance for Mobile Privacy - Security: I-CAMPS”. It aims to identify privacy and security issues in the mobile system. At the same time, preventing potential cyber fraud due to application, device vulnerabilities and unsafe user habits. Applications distributed through the "App Store" currently pose the greatest malware risk to all mobile operating systems. It should be noted that fake apps redirect customers to illegal websites with the aim of stealing personal and financial information. Under the project, NSCS will create a technology-based platform with a mobile application and desktop site to assist Indian citizens. It is worth noting that NSCS is collaborating with many ministries and government departments for this. The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) has been entrusted with the execution of the project. About NSCS: The NSCS is headed by the National Security Advisor. It was established after the Pokhran II nuclear tests in the year 1998. It operates under the executive office of the Prime Minister. It establishes liaison between the executive branch of the government and the intelligence services. In addition, it also provides leadership consultation on intelligence and security related issues.
