Learning Recovery Plan (LRP) by Ministry of Education Recently the Ministry of Education has prepared the Learning Recovery Plan (LRP) for the academic session 2022-23. The need was felt to ensure continuity of learning and to help the school education system recover from the impact of the pandemic. For this, the states and union territories have been asked to follow the guidelines of the Learning Recovery Plan (LRP). Measures taken under LRP: Identification and tracking of out-of-school children and drop outs from each class Ensuring supply of text books and uniforms. Also, tracking each child by creating a child registry at the school level. Ensuring implementation of bridge courses and school readiness modules for secondary classes. Conducting oral reading and fluency test. With this, minimum standards of reading will be established for children in different Indian languages. The Center has asked the states to strengthen the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilities at the block and cluster level. This will help in increasing the efficiency of the teachers. Grouping of schools with private schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas or Navodaya Vidyalayas to learn from each other. Funds for students and teachers: 500 per student for all students of upper primary and secondary level. 10,000 per teacher for the purchase of tablets for 25 lakh teachers at the primary level.
