Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar (SVP) 2021-22
Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar (SVP) 2021-22 has been launched by the Ministry of Education. It was first started by the Department of School Education and Literacy (Ministry of Education) in the year 2016-17.
It pays special attention to the promotion of safe and proper hygiene practices in schools and hygienic behavior among children.
Water, sanitation and hygiene play an important role in student attendance, school dropout rates and learning outcomes.
All categories of schools (i.e. government, government aided and private schools) in both rural and urban areas can participate.
