Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve
Recently the Government of Rajasthan has notified Ramgarh Vishdhari Wildlife Sanctuary as a Tiger Reserve.
The state government notifies tiger reserves. This notification is issued in accordance with the provisions of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 on the advice of the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA).
It is the fourth tiger reserve of Rajasthan after Ranthambore, Sariska and Mukundra. It is the 52nd Tiger Reserve of India.
Ramgarh Vishdhari: It acts as a tiger corridor between Ranthambore Tiger Reserve and Mukundara Hills Tiger Reserve.
