‘PM Shri Schools’: Model schools
. Recently, the Education Minister has informed that the government is in the process of establishing Adarsh schools. These will be known as ‘PM Shree Schools’.
These state-of-the-art schools will be the laboratories of the National Policy on Education (NEP) 2020. These will be fully capable of preparing the students for the future.
In this endeavor, the Union Ministry of Education has planned for a nationwide replica of Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK) of Gujarat Education Department.
VSK will help in tracking daily online attendance of teachers and students, periodic assessment of learning outcomes of students etc.
The National Monitoring System will be known as NDEAR (National Digital Education Infrastructure) VSK.
