Recently, the Arunachal Pradesh cabinet has adopted the Pakke tiger Reserve 2047 Declaration on Climate Change-Resilient and Responsive Arunachal Pradesh.
The declaration envisages low emissions and climate-resilient development in Arunachal Pradesh through five broad themes.
These five broad themes include: Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Health and Well-being for All, Sustainable and Adapted Life, Livelihoods and Opportunities and Evidence Generation and Collaborative Action.
The cabinet has adopted Kaiser-e-Hind as the state butterfly. The move is aimed at promoting butterfly tourism in the state and saving the butterfly species from extinction.
