Recently, Jammu and Kashmir has become the first union territory to be integrated with the National Single Window System (NSWS).
This is an important step towards Ease of Doing Business (EODB) i.e. Ease of Doing Business in Jammu and Kashmir.
About National Single Window System
- It was started in the year 2021. It is a digital platform. It acts as a guide for the investors to locate and apply for the necessary approvals as per their business requirements.
- 14 States/Union Territories and 20 Ministries/Departments have been integrated on NSWS.
- This eliminates the need for investors to visit/visit multiple platforms/offices to collect information and obtain approvals from various stakeholders.
