An innovation portal developed by the National Innovation Foundations – India (NIF – India) has been dedicated to the nation by the Minister of Science and Technology.

National Innovation Foundation:
The National Innovation Foundations is an autonomous institution of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Its headquarters is located in the city of Gandhinagar in the state of Gujarat, India.
The National Innovation Foundations, based and founded on the philosophy of Honey Bee Network, started functioning in March 2000 as a national initiative to empower basic technological innovations and unique traditional knowledge.
NIF is a unique institution, which strongly focuses and experiences testing and facilitating inclusive and fundamental innovations driven by citizens.
