Multi-Lateral Exercise ZAPAD 2021
Recently a multinational Multi-Lateral Exercise ZAPAD 2021 is to be organized in Nizhny, Russia, in which a team of 200 soldiers of the Indian Army will participate.
ZAPED 2021 is one of the theater-level maneuvers of the Russian Armed Forces and will primarily focus on operations against terrorists.
More than a dozen countries from the Eurasian and South Asian region will participate in this exercise. Pakistan and China are participating as observer countries in the exercise.
