Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas
It has been designed by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA). It is a semi-indigenous and single engine and multi-role fighter jet. It is manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
- It was conceived in the year 1984. Its reach is up to 400 km. It will primarily be used for close to air-to-ground operations. It is the world’s smallest and lightest supersonic fighter aircraft in its class.
- It is equipped with state-of-the-art Satellite Aided Inertial Navigation System.
- The LCAMK-2, the larger aircraft version of the LCA, will be presented by the end of this year or early 2023.
