Ladakh Ignited Minds project of Indian Army

Recently, the Indian Army has launched the ‘Ladakh Ignited Minds Project’ to provide educational opportunities for a better future for young students of Ladakh.

For this, Leh-based Corps of Indian Army has signed a memorandum of understanding with corporate partner Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and an NGO ‘National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation, (NIEDO)’.

Ladakh Ignited Minds project

  • Ladakh students under the ‘Ladakh Ignited Minds Project’ will be provided with a 12-month residential arrangement for all types of entrance examinations.
  • Through which the youth of Ladakh can be admitted to various medical and engineering colleges present in the country.
  • The program will be executed by the National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation, (NIEDO), a Kanpur-based NGO under the aegis of the Indian Army.
  • The project will train 45 students from Kargil and Leh districts, in which 20 girls will be trained.
  • The project will train students for entrance exams like JEE and NEET.

Development of Ladakh
