  • South-South Cooperation (SSC) refers to the exchange and sharing of ideas in solving development issues between countries located in the Global South.
  • The division of “North” and “South” is also used to refer to the social, economic and political differences that exist between developed countries (North) and developing countries (South).
  • However, a country is not defined as North or South by location. Rather it is defined by economic factors and the quality of life of their population.
