IBF (Indian Broadcasting Foundation) to be renamed as Indian Broadcasting and Digital Foundation
- The Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF), is being renamed as Indian Broadcasting and Digital Foundation (IBDF), as it expands its purview to cover digital platforms to bring all digital (OTT) players under one roof.

How will the platforms be regulated?
- For regulation, the IBDF is considering forming a new wholly owned subsidiary, which will handle all matters of digital media.
- A self-regulatory body called Digital Medic Content Regulatory Council (DMCTC) will also be set up for the digital OTT platform.
