Going Online As Leaders (GOAL)
Recently, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs has launched the second phase of Going Online as Leaders (GOAL) programme.
The GOAL program is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and Facebook India. It aims to provide guidance to tribal youth through digital mode.
It aims to digitally enable 10 lakh youth from tribal communities, and open up opportunities for them using digital technology.
It will create a platform for Self Help Groups and families affiliated to Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) to have global access to their products.
