G20 Environment Ministers meet in Naples
Energy and Environment Ministers from G20 countries have gathered in Naples on 22 and 23 July 2021, Italy to discuss wildfires in Russia and the United States, as well as devastating floods in parts of Western Europe.

These meetings are being organized with a focus on 3 main themes:
- To promote circular economies especially in the textile and fashion sectors.
- To conserve biodiversity and oceans.
- To promote sustainable development by reorganizing the financial system.
- The purpose of this ‘Environment, Climate and Energy meeting’ of the G20 is to place ecological change at the center of the political agenda, integrate environmental protection with progress and human well-being, and promote a science-based coordinated global response to pandemics.
- The G20 Ministerial Meeting has come as a platform for dialogue and exchange of experiences between international delegations and technicians, working for effective, equitable and coordinated responses for a prosperous and sustainable future.
