Colombo Security Conclave (CSC)
The National Security Council Secretariat has organized the first Colombo Security Conclave (CSC) Virtual Workshop. Its theme is “Developing Regional Cyber Security Capabilities on Defensive Operations, Deep/Dark Web Handling and Digital Forensics”.
The CSC, formerly called the National Security Advisor (NSA) level Tripartite Meeting on Maritime Security (2011). India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Maldives and Seychelles are its members. Its secretariat is located in Colombo.
It helps member countries to effectively build capacity on shared security threats through its four pillars of cooperation:
- Maritime security and security, terrorism and extremism, smuggling and organized crime and cyber security and critical infrastructure.
