  • The platform will ease the discovery, design & validation of solutions through a robust, transparent and user-centric process that will reduce barriers for innovators and cities to discover fitting solutions.
  • Built on the concept of ‘open innovation’, the platform will help in the flow of ideas ‘outside in and inside out, enhancing the skills and capacity required to deliver smart urban governance.

City Innovation Exchange – CiX:

  • The City Innovation Exchange will connect innovators with cities at the national level with the aim of creating innovative solutions to the growing challenges in cities.
  • This platform will simplify the discovery, design and validation of solutions through a robust, transparent and consumer-centric process.
  • Built on the concept of ‘open innovation’, the platform will help in the flow of ideas ‘outside in and inside out, enhancing the skills and capacity required to deliver smart urban governance.
  • Designed on the principle of ‘everyone is innovator’, civic organizations, academics, enterprises and governments will come together to build a transparent and sustainable urban India in future.
  • This platform will benefit cities, through consultation with academics and enterprises / startups, in the transfer of ideas from laboratories to the real environment.
  • In addition, through dialogue with citizens, urban local governments will ensure the implementation of tested solutions. Effective and sustainable solutions will be implemented under this.
  • In the future, this platform will help implement solutions in our cities. This will improve the quality of life of the citizens and improve the ease of doing business.
