China’s Sinovac COVID-19 Vaccine
Recently the World Health Organization has approved China’s Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use.
This is the second vaccine manufactured by China to receive WHO approval. Earlier ‘Sinopharm’ was the first Chinese-made vaccine to be approved by WHO.
Emergency use list
- Many countries of the world, especially those countries that do not have their own international standard regulator, will benefit from getting approval for these vaccines, because being included in the emergency use list will be a way to quickly import and distribute a vaccine.
